Lindsay Carroll, Religious Studies MA Graduate

Lindsay Carroll was first introduced to Hinduisim through yoga, and pursued her master’s degree in Religious Studies as a way to gain more in-depth knowledge of Hinduism. As an artist, the graduate thesis process allowed her to refine her ability to commit to extended creative and scholarly endeavors. She learned to explore meaning and symbolism, create organized processes, and communicate ideas effectively. Lindsay encourages students looking for careers outside of research to take risks and branch out: “The skills that you’ve gained certainly won’t be left behind, but instead, will be utilized in a new and creative way.”
